How to Add Bookmarks to a PDF

Privacy & Security

PDFs are processed on ConvertCraft's servers for bookmark generation and permanently deleted immediately after. The bookmark data (titles and page numbers) is used only to create the outline and is never stored or retained.

•Nested bookmarks (sub-chapters) can be created by adding entries with matching prefixes
•The bookmark panel appears in all major PDF readers — Acrobat, Preview, Chrome, Edge
•For very long documents (100+ pages), consider adding bookmarks at chapter and section levels
