Fast workflow
Designed to reduce friction with direct upload, quick processing, and one-click export.
Open Video Extract Audio, add your file, then choose the target output and run conversion.
This tool is optimized for video processing and works best with mp4, avi, mov, mkv, webm, flv as inputs.
When processing completes, download the result in mp3, wav, aac, ogg and verify quality before sharing.
Video Extract Audio is a privacy-first utility for fast video processing. It helps you move from mp4, avi, mov, mkv, webm, flv to mp3, wav, aac, ogg with consistent output quality.
Designed to reduce friction with direct upload, quick processing, and one-click export.
Files are handled in an isolated processing flow with minimal retention and clear user controls.
Outputs are tuned for real use cases across mp3, wav, aac, ogg.
A predictable sequence keeps conversion stable across devices and file sizes.
Video Extract Audio accepts mp4, avi, mov, mkv, webm, flv and exports mp3, wav, aac, ogg.
The pipeline is designed for privacy-first processing with clear user control over inputs and outputs.
Use high-quality source files, choose the closest matching target format, and avoid repeated reconversion cycles.
Video Extract Audio follows a deterministic conversion flow so results are repeatable and easier to troubleshoot when a file behaves unexpectedly.
Extract the audio track from any video file as MP3, WAV, AAC, FLAC, or OGG.
Video uploads are transferred via encrypted connections to ConvertCraft servers and processed in isolated containers. The audio extraction is purely computational — no audio content is stored, indexed, or analysed beyond the extraction process. All uploaded videos and extracted audio files are permanently deleted from our servers immediately after your download completes.
This tool demuxes the audio stream from a video container using FFmpeg's -vn (no video) flag. When the source audio codec is compatible with the target format (e.g. AAC to AAC, or MP3 to MP3), it uses stream copy mode (-c:a copy) for instant, bit-perfect extraction with zero quality loss. For incompatible pairs, it re-encodes using the target codec — libmp3lame for MP3, aac for AAC, pcm_s16le for WAV, flac for FLAC, or libvorbis for OGG. Output bitrate defaults to 192kbps for lossy formats and full quality for lossless formats.
Perfect for extracting the soundtrack from a movie clip for use as a standalone audio file, pulling voiceover audio from screen recordings, or converting video podcast recordings into downloadable audio episodes. Also useful for isolating music tracks from video content, extracting dialogue for transcription services, or creating ringtones from favourite video moments. Ideal when you only need the audio portion of a video file without the visual data.
