Fast workflow
Designed to reduce friction with direct upload, quick processing, and one-click export.
Open Video Blur, add your file, then choose the target output and run conversion.
This tool is optimized for video processing and works best with mp4, mov, avi, mkv, webm as inputs.
When processing completes, download the result in mp4, mov, avi, mkv, webm and verify quality before sharing.
Video Blur is a privacy-first utility for fast video processing. It helps you move from mp4, mov, avi, mkv, webm to mp4, mov, avi, mkv, webm with consistent output quality.
Designed to reduce friction with direct upload, quick processing, and one-click export.
Files are handled in an isolated processing flow with minimal retention and clear user controls.
Outputs are tuned for real use cases across mp4, mov, avi, mkv, webm.
A predictable sequence keeps conversion stable across devices and file sizes.
Video Blur accepts mp4, mov, avi, mkv, webm and exports mp4, mov, avi, mkv, webm.
The pipeline is designed for privacy-first processing with clear user control over inputs and outputs.
Use high-quality source files, choose the closest matching target format, and avoid repeated reconversion cycles.
Video Blur follows a deterministic conversion flow so results are repeatable and easier to troubleshoot when a file behaves unexpectedly.
Automatically blur faces or blur a fixed screen region throughout a video.
All video files are uploaded to encrypted ConvertCraft servers and processed within isolated containers. Face detection runs locally on our infrastructure — no biometric data is stored or transmitted externally. Every original file and processed output is permanently deleted from our servers immediately after your download session ends.
This tool offers two censorship modes: AI-powered face detection blur and fixed-region masking. Auto Face Blur employs a convolutional neural network for face detection, generating per-frame bounding box masks that are applied using FFmpeg's boxblur filter with configurable radius and power parameters. Region Blur applies a static coordinate-based mask using the crop and overlay filters. The intensity slider adjusts between subtle Gaussian blur (low values) and heavy mosaic pixelation (high values) by varying the blur radius and pixel block size.
Critical for GDPR and privacy compliance when publishing footage containing identifiable individuals — blur faces in crowd shots, bystanders in street photography, or participants in recorded meetings. Also essential for censoring licence plates in dashcam footage, hiding sensitive information in screen recordings and tutorials, or obscuring brand logos and trademarks in commercial content before distribution.
