Encryption uses AES-256-GCM with PBKDF2 key derivation, running entirely inside your browser via the Web Crypto API. Your file bytes are never transmitted to any server — nothing is uploaded, logged, or stored. The encryption happens in a single pass and the result is downloaded directly to your device.
Military-grade client-side encryption using industry-standard algorithms. AES-256-GCM provides both confidentiality and authenticity — it detects if the encrypted file has been tampered with. PBKDF2 with your chosen iteration count derives the encryption key from your password, making brute-force attacks computationally expensive. Each file gets a cryptographically random 16-byte salt and 12-byte IV, so even identical files with the same password produce different ciphertext.
