1. Description of Service

ConvertCraft is a free, browser-based file-conversion platform. We provide tools that let you convert, edit, and transform images, videos, audio files, PDFs, and other document formats directly in your web browser using WebAssembly technology (including FFmpeg.wasm). Most processing happens entirely on your device — your files are not uploaded to our servers unless a specific tool requires server-side assistance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use this Service. By using ConvertCraft, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. User Accounts

ConvertCraft offers optional accounts for Pro subscribers. Free tools are available without registration. Account-related terms are presented during the registration and subscription process.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, process, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Infringe upon or violate the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party.
• Distribute malware, viruses, or any other harmful software.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or computer systems or networks connected to the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service, including through denial-of-service attacks, automated scraping, or excessive API calls.
• Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service except where permitted by applicable law.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these terms.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, is the property of ConvertCraft or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

5.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to the files you upload and process through ConvertCraft. We do not claim ownership of your content. Since most tools operate locally in your browser, your files are never transmitted to us. For tools that require server-side processing, files are used solely to perform the requested conversion and are deleted automatically after processing.

5.3 Open-Source Components

ConvertCraft uses open-source libraries (such as FFmpeg.wasm) that are subject to their own licenses.

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Advertising

ConvertCraft is a free service supported by advertising. We may display third-party advertisements on the Service. Advertising scripts are only loaded after you provide consent via the cookie consent banner. You can withdraw consent at any time through the “Cookie Settings” option in the footer. We do not control the content of third-party advertisements and are not responsible for their accuracy or the products or services they promote.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

File conversions are performed on a best-effort basis. Output quality and compatibility may vary depending on the source file, format, and browser capabilities. We recommend keeping original copies of your files before converting them.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CONVERTCRAFT AND ITS OPERATORS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
• Any content obtained from the Service.
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
• Loss of or damage to files during conversion.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ConvertCraft and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by ConvertCraft. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

12. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the revised Terms on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of ConvertCraft after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ConvertCraft operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

16. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ConvertCraft regarding the use of the Service.
