This Privacy Policy explains how ConvertCraft ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use https://www.convert-craft.com (the “Service”).

Summary (plain English)

• Most tools run locally in your browser using WebAssembly (including FFmpeg.wasm) — your files do not leave your device for those tools.
• Some optional helper services (for example large PDF rasterization or certain server-assisted jobs) may receive file data you explicitly submit; such data is processed transiently and not kept as a permanent archive.
• We do not intentionally sell your personal data. If advertising partners are used, some jurisdictions treat certain ad technology as “sharing” — we provide an opt-out method below.
• Ads are optional and can be managed via your privacy choices controls in the site UI.

1) Information we collect

1.1 Files you use with the tools

When a tool runs locally (in-browser processing), your uploaded files are processed on your device. For those tools, we do not receive the contents of your files.

If you choose to use a tool that relies on an optional helper server, the file (or part of it) is transmitted to that helper to perform the requested operation. Helper services are designed to process data temporarily and auto-delete artifacts after a short period.

1.2 Basic technical data

Like most websites, our servers and infrastructure providers may log basic technical information when you load pages, such as IP address, user-agent (browser/device type), timestamps, and requested URLs. This is used for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.

1.3 Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and local storage for essential functionality (for example: remembering preferences, language, and consent choices). If you enable advertising, our advertising partners may also use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads.

3) Advertising (Ezoic / Google AdSense)

ConvertCraft may display ads through third-party advertising partners such as Ezoic and/or Google AdSense. These partners may collect information via cookies, pixels, or similar technologies to provide and measure ads.

4) Your rights (GDPR / CCPA/CPRA)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, or restrict certain processing of personal information. To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 6.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information (California)

We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense. However, some advertising technology may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under California law.

If/when our advertising partner provides an automated opt-out URL/tool (for example via Ezoic integration), we will link it here.

5) Security & retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the Service. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We aim to avoid storing user file contents when possible; any server-side artifacts created by helper processing are intended to be temporary.
