The Journey

Why I Built ConvertCraft

I built ConvertCraft in a focused 45-day sprint as a solo developer, with AI helping me move faster and stay consistent.

The hardest part was not writing code. It was staying steady through long nights, fixing edge-cases, and rebuilding flows until they felt simple and fast.

At the core is the ConvertCraft WASM Engine: a local-first processing model designed to deliver high performance while keeping file handling inside the user workflow instead of defaulting to third-party cloud processing.

The vision stayed clear: privacy-first conversion that feels instant, works for creators, and respects people who just want their files done without noise.

ConvertCraft is the result of that pressure, persistence, and support from people who believed before it was easy to believe.
